  • fender Blues JR. How to build in a 120v to 220v

    Hello dearest,

Just came to buy a Blues JR. With a stepdown I get it runnin' and am very pleased with that creamy jazzsound. Bought it to have a compact box to gig around - so this (noisy) stepdown is pretty enoying.
    Need a fixed powertransfo.

Anybody an idea where to find a powertransfo for the Blues Jr that runs on 220v?
And how to build it in? I have some soldier skills but am not an electricist and voices talk about 500v tension in the box mrrrrrrrr....

    Many thanx
    Zark

    blues jr transformer

You might check with fender themselves. They probably have a replacement. Other than that, mercury magnetics or heyboer will probably do it.
