Just bought a dead AVT150H. TDA7293 were replaced. Still blowing fuse. I am a novice but would like to learn. Can I remove connectors to output boards and turn on eliminating TDA7293 from equation? From there, what would be the most obvious problem?

Yes, that is exactly what to do. You might as well check the usual suspects. ANy rectifier diodes or bridges shorted? And any shorted filter caps? Disconnect the power transformer secondaries and see if it still takes out the fuse - meaning a bad power transformer.Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.
