Hi, I have a Hartke 3500 amp that's wired 230V Euro and I need to convert to 115. Inside is a circuit board that says voltage selector and has both options, but it seems like the only way to really convert without getting a new transformer is to know the specific wiring configuration to convert it. Does anybody know how to convert it to 115, and if I do need a new transformer, where I could get one? The conversion sure would make it simpler. Thanks.

Older Model
Mine must be an older model because there is no such assembly on the back. It's a normal tube shaped fuse holder with twist off cap. The internal circuit board I was referring to has 6 wires leading to the transformer and one from the fuse. It says voltage selector. AC in is electronically connected to two tabs, one says yellow and is connected to the transformer (220V) input to the transformer and other says white but nothing is connected to it or available.

More Info
The internal circuit board looks like this:
Code:YL [ ] WH AC IN WH [ RD [ BK/WH [ BK [ GY [ ] BK AC IN
I made this look real pretty but when I posted it it ignore all my extra spaces and jumbled it all together. Like I said the three connectors ([ and ]) to the left are connected by runs. The only tab on the board not currently connected to a wire is the WH tab, second from the left on the top row. The tab that says BLK/WH is connected with a white wire and all other wires are color coordinated to their tabs. So it seems clear that wiring the amp for 115V would mean removing the YL wire on the top left and inserting a white wire. Well I'm wondering if the 115V configuration would be to move the white wire (third from the right on the top row) to the tab two from the left on the top row, and moving the BLK wire (second from right on top row) over to the left one tab, and completely removing the YL wire (top left). But of course I would like to have confirmation on this configuration before trying it and possibly frying the transformer. I called Hartke and left a message but haven't heard back yet. Any ideas?

You could just contact Samson in New York and request the schematics. This partial should cover you.Attached FilesEducation is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

hartke 3500
If you get desperate, I can open up mine and take a pic and send it to you. Mine runs on 120. I would have to go out and dig it out of the band trailer and take it apart but I have no problem if you really need it. It's my keyboard amp most of the time. Mike.
