  • Trace Elliot AH100 issue 3 head schematic ?

Hi not much time to rest after my last Trace 'project' and I have ended up with another one to fix. Can't read the model on the box but it looks like is AH100, says GP7 Series 6 on the front and on the PCB it says -AH100 issue 3. It has one 135/50 Mosfet pair (holes for another) and works ok but suffers from some not so bad but audible distortion which I have traced to the power amp with headphones.

I found a diagram for it here in the big list - it is a hard to read hand drawn one with voltages here and there - however this diagram it is not entirely correct. I have +-65V and (not 52v) and there are one or two small differences. And if 52V is AH100W then this must be AHmoreW perhaps

At this point no idea what can cause the distortion, voltages in the power amp seem consistent with diagram. I have resoldered all and it made no difference.

I hope that this is exactly what you're looking for

Well, no it is not. The circuit shows R19 as 1K but in the part list later (and on my board ) it is 220 Ohm and it is from V+ to R4 and C12. C12 is in fact found in the part list in the pdf but not in the diagram. So this part list is correct but refers to some other diagram - the one I am looking for I guess.

      If it helps my traf says AH130 0 100 115 0 100 115 41 0 41 is this windings not sure

I figure really what I have is perhaps Trace Elliot AH130 - does it exist ?
