  • Peavey XR600F eq problem

I've got Peavey XR600F - the first four bands of the eq on power amp 1 are not working, the FLS indicators for those bands are lit up. Everything else is ok. Has anyone seen this combination of symptoms before?
    Thanks!

Sounds like either bad opamps (4560), bad coupling caps or the sliders took a hit.
Seeing as there are four in a row I would check the sliders real good.
The schematic for that one I do not have.
Post it if you have it.

Thanks for the reply. Sliders all feel fine, move as smoothly as the others. I've attached a scan of the eq section schematic.

I would compare the working sections with the non-working ones.
At the opamps, compare the output pins (1 & 7)
Check for proper voltages (Pin 4 & 8).

Was hoping for a common component to explain all four going out, but doesn't appear to be the case. Will post back when I know more, thanks!

Your very best bet is to contact Peavey.
I do not have that complete file.

if you have just the power amp section that would be great
