  • Fender SR 6325 out put transistors

High guys. I'm presently trying to find out substitutes for the out put transistors in this amp. got a schematic for it but the out put is in correct. the # on these parts are YS6927 and YS6900. Data sheets for these transistors don't show up any where and Fender is no help. Any one have any ideas? Thanks in advance, Skip2011

Those are Yorkville Sound part numbers for MJ15024 & MJ15025. Someone has worked on the amp before and used YS replacement parts (probably an L&M repair shop).

Yes, my book shows them as MJ15022 and MJ15023, so just use any good quality part with the right voltage and wattage specs and you should be okay.

Yes you are correct Bill, 22&23. As Enzo often mentions, where I worked we tended to use 24&25 instead of 15&16 or 22&23, it superceded them all with higher spec and was no more expensive.
So if skip only has MJ15022&23, that would be fine, and it's also possible the original Fender used 15&16 but I can't say for sure.
