Hi everyone,
Old coworker friend asked me to fix this nakamichi tuner amp.
Upstairs condo leaked water causing excessive humidity, no liquid intrusion.
Found infamous powerboard underside sponge buffer onto steel floor semi shorting, removed visually compromised discretes but found nothing offensive. Panel power LED orange no display means bootup post unsat.
Asked jeff nakamichi usa for scoop but rubbed off, liability shy injury repairing (me).
Asked tokyo nakamichi for scoop, no response to date (jan2015).
Got service manual but no troubleshooting logistics enclosed orange LED trouble indicator.
Your help would be appreciated. Unit in pristine condition, inside and outside.
