Apologies for posting a very simple question. I have the above Mono amp, which has a pair of parallel speaker jacks. Can I safely assume that it will not be a problem to run it with just one suitably-rated speaker connected? Thanks in advance.

Two jacks are there for your convenience, as in a speaker on either side of you. Use one or the other or both. All that matters to the amp is the total impedance it faces. The NUMBER of speakers is irrelevant, only the impedance matters.Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.
