    Output ic is a TDA2030.

It has two 9V battery holders in series.

    No clean signal at all.
    It's distortion or more distortion.

Sounds good for what it is.

Are you sure its not home-made? It seems to have a "cigar box guitar" aesthetic. Is that speaker grill cannibalized from a vegetable steamer????

EDIT: Does it have one of these ~$1.25 Chinese amplifier boards inside?

It does not appear to be a one off, home made amp.
The pocket for the PCB is milled out.
On off switch, LED indicator, polarity diode on the PCB for the battery + voltage, two 9volt battery compartments.

The covering is made to have international hotel stickers all over it, like a suitcase.

The only markings on it are on the snap buttons.
      "MCD"
      "More Core Division".

Well, I got the word from the owner.

Yes, it is a one off.
The amplifier guts came from another battery powered amp.

And, the grill is indeed from a food processor.

For everyone's sake, I sure hope that food processor was already broken....

Food processor blade helps the tone cut through the mix.

Darn. Why didn't I think of that one?
                Well played, sir.

Reminded me of this old chestnut.

I always kind of wanted one (they did guitar and ukelele versions) but unfortunately they had a very short lifespan. In both availability and physical reliability.

I suggested a speaker out jack as it has a decent TDA2030 IC for an output.
I used a jack that cuts out the existing speaker when a cab is loaded in.

With 24Vdc into the dc jack (that I added) it sounds pretty gnarly into a Marshall 4 x 10 stack.

I thought it was the built-in rotary speaker, so you don't have to haul the Leslie around.

2 x 9V batteries supply are a brickwall, but an external power jack and a real supply should make it work properly.

                          Yup.

                          Added an external dc jack.
