Sub TDA8954 for TDA8953

TDA8953 IS IN THE ev zlx12p

TDA8954 is in the mackie thump

Has anyone put the 54 in the ZLX12p?

it looks like the same chip, the 54 has the added two diagnostic pins for monitoring the status of Thermal
Fold Back (TFB), Over Current Protection (OCP) and other protection circuits. pins 10 and 12

other than that they look exact

Comparing the 8953 to the 8954, they look like the same ic to me.
Other than the two 'diag' pins on the 54.
