Hello all
Having a few issues with this one
It came in in protection mode. 1/2 of the speaker outs were broken
So i sorted those out. and turned on in protection mode
I tested the SAP15N- SAP15P. I thought they were faulty. I replaced with SAP16's ( bought from a good supplier ) which is an updated version of the SAP15
I believe now that the sap15 were ok
I have read a few bits on line about this problem but nothing that is helpful
cambridge_azur-540a_v2.0_sm.pdf
They used that glue on the main board that has gone bad and hard eating into component
legs. Cleaned that off and only found 1 damaged leg. sorted that
At switch on i press standby and within 2-3 seconds it shuts off and power supply relay cuts the supply from the power tx
at switch on i can see about 30v on J12 ( page 26) and 1.5V on J6 page (26)
of course this lasts for about 3-4 seconds then drains away
I have tested transistors/diodes/resistors in power amp circuit nothing comes up bad
38v +/- ok
15v+/- ok
5v ok
Is there anyway to disable the protection so i can get this on ?? so further tests can be made and hopefully work out what is going on
thanks in advance
