At power on, no output for 3-4 minutes until fan finally reaches full speed. It runs about a half second at a time, in regular intervals, until reaching normal operation speed. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Sounds like an SMPS trying to start.Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned. -
Does this have a class D power amp/power supply board, maybe an ICEpower?Comment

One thing ought to be easy to see, no great big power transformer. Yet it is a 300 watt amp. That there pretty much assures us of an SMPS. Plus the module in the center sure looks like one.Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.Comment
