  • What the heck is this button (inside the amp) for?

    I am servicing an Acoustic 370 bass amp head and see this little red button on the output PCB.

      It is not a circuit breaker. It is momentary contact. I'll shoot a picture of the underside of the PCB.

                  Thanks, makes sense.
                  Automatic Gain Control (AGC) is typically used for output compression/limiting to avoid hard clipping.
