Nah, I'd just be interested how they spec them (in terms of max. plate dissipation) since a KT88 is ~40W, the EH KT90 is ~50W, so the KT100 is what? 60W? It's probably just a marketing thing, though. Bigger numbers implying a sturdier tube. The KT100s have been sold for quite some time now, but so far I've not come across a spec sheet which is kind of suspicious...
