Does anyone have a nice picture of a ECC83 clipping a signal, some data from some scope trace or something.? I'd like to compare with some stuff I have.

200v supply.
Apply 1KHz sine wave, increasing in amplitude...
Be careful with your image viewer as it may introduce artifacts.
