    Hi all,

I have only just realised that these tubes exist, a sharp cutoff small signal pentode and a high mu triode in a 9 pin bottle. I'm pretty curious about them, and wanted to ask if anyone here has any experience with them.

I guess my main questions are how they would go as pre-amp gain stages, and the relevant issues of noise and microphony?

Also wondering how they behave in circuits. Does the triode side behave like a 12AX7 triode? Does the the pentode side behave like any other, more commonly used pentode?

There is a data sheet posted at http://scottbecker.net/tube/sheets/112/6/6F12P.pdf that you can compare to 12AX7 data and various small signal pentodes.

Thanks Tom, I have saved the data sheet you linked.

Curiosity got the better of me, so a few of these are now winging their way to me from Russia.

      Has anyone tried using them?
