Static Shield in isolation transformer

Hello All,

I received an isolation transformer for my Kustom Kraft 600 amp today. One of the wires is connected to a static shield between the primary and secondary. Should I connect that to the chassis or let it float? Thanks...Dave

Connect it to the source safety earth.
