EH Frequency Analyzer no effect

This is not making any effect, signal is passing when the effect is engaged but no effect. The 533 IC was getting hot and there were voltages on pin that should have any, so I changed it. Got one from England with the hope that it wouldn’t be a counterfeit. Now there is no heat coming from the body of the IC and voltages look like where they should be but still no effect. Maybe it’s a counterfeit, maybe not.
I don’t know where to go with this. Does anyone have experience with this pedal and can offer some advice. Thank you.

Are pins 4 and 5 of the 8038 chip responding to a change in the shift pot or fine adjustment pot? Are you seeing the sine wave on pin 2? Does that vary when you adjust the shift or fine pot?

Is the blend pot ok? No broken traces or need to be cleaned? Do you have a signal tracer?

Yes there is a sign wave on pin 2 and a triangle wave on pin 3, and the sine wave responds to the movement of the shift and fine pots. The blend pot measures good and has been cleaned.

Switch checks good or you have tried bypassing (hardwiring) it?

Do the blue and white pots send a variable voltage to the AD533? Are the ecaps still good?

There is variable voltages on both trim pots. I decided to update the e-caps and found that one of the caps on the 533 was bad. It works now. Thanks for all the help!
