  • Fender harmonic vibrato sound clip?

    Hey gang,
Does anyone have ( or capable of making) a sound clip of the the old Fender Brownface tremolo in action? I'd like to clone it as a stand-alone and would appreciate any suggestions. Some questions I have: the original version compared to the later version (added triode section); maybe compared to the Revibe circuit, etc. Thanks!

You are aware that there is a solid-state emulation circuit of this? http://www.geofex.com/

      All-tube

I've seen SS versions, but I'm a tube guy. I found a post from a couple of months back of a Revibe. Sounds very Univibe-ish, which is promising. I'm wondering why the Revibe copied Fenders first version and not the updated version? It might seem that for Fender to add a tube, and leave one side unused, would have driven the bean counters nuts if it weren't almost required for stability. Can any experimenters out there attest to it's necessity?
