  • What is Tip to Ground??

I have a Digitech 7.6 Time Machine and to turn the delay off and on and make the Sound on sound you need to have tip to ground The older digitech stuff was Hot to ground so I could use a Boss FS1 ect Can someone tell me what I need to do to make it work Can I just switch the hot and ground at the on off.

Tip-to-ground refers to the two conductors in the jack and plug. The end part of the plug is the tip, so all we're talking about here is shorting the two contacts in the jack via a switch plugged into it.

What is not immediately clear to me is whether that should be a momentary or a latching switch.
