Anyone got a schematic for this? the 'compression' pot got destroyed and I'm trying to find the value to replace it.

Can't you just open it and look? The value should be printed on the pot.
"Enzo, I see that you replied parasitic oscillations. Is that a hypothesis? Or is that your amazing metal band I should check out?"

That was my first idea, but it's not printed on the pot. Second idea... post on ampage and see if anyone has a schematic. Thanks for the help. I'm gonna call Korg and see if I can't get one from them.

If you can't get a schematic, I'll open up my ED-1 and measure the pot with an ohm meter for you. (did it really get destroyed so bad that you can't measure it?)

Well, I just went to my dealer site to download the data, and all it will tell me is that it is a "replace only" unit. Also the parts list is a blank page.

I don't know what destruction you face, but I have been known to disassemble a pot and measure the resistive stripe even though the part with the terminals had been broken off. In fact I take apart quite a few pots and save a goodly percentage of them.
