  • Original Memory Man- Bare bones

Hey there I recently found, at a garage sale, what I believe is an original EH Stereo Memory Man. The guy who was giving it away didn't have the original chassis but had the circuit board with the small transformer. I tried to Google the schematic and only found one here:

Looking over the schematic above I noticed a few things: mine has only three controls and the MN3005 chip in mine is only using pins: 1,2,6,7,8,9,13 and 14, all other pins are not there. As well mine has the NE5554 chip and not the NE570. I was wondering if anyone had access to just the Stereo Memory Man schematic? I really want to bring this board back to life and it looks like it is pretty well intact save for the chassis, switches and jacks. I appreciate any help here. Thanks!

On the back of the pc board you'll find an EH number etched from the copper clad. What is that EH number? You should be able to Google the EH number to find out the type of delay you have, BTW, the NE5554 is a regulator IC. The NE570 is a compander IC.

      The board

Hey thanks for your response. I tried to Google the board#: EH7810 C and I couldn't find any results. Basically at this point I want to find out the input and output points. There are a number of letters corresponding to pads on the board and wires coming from those points but of course all jacks and switches are cut. The letters are A-I. Maybe i will try and upload a picture...

Update: I did find a database and this is in fact the: MEMORY MAN Echo/Chorus with boost
      Now to find the schematic...

Check out http://www.ronsound.com. Ron has the exact schematic you are looking for and at $5.00 you can't beat the price.
