Dunlop wah dc jack

Can anyone advise if you can replace the 1/8 DC power jack on a Dunlop Crybaby Revision D with a new 2.1 "Boss Style"?

I would like to but will just get an adapter if it is too much of a hassle.

Yes, you can. I have done it before. You can just desolder the one in there and run wires to the new one (if you get the basic round DIY jack) or you can probably get one that fits into the existing solder pads. I just used the basic round one found at all the pedal parts supply places and drilled the hole out so it was round.

I think I have a picture that matches up the lugs for each type of jack if you need it.
