Next to no signal in my old phase 90

Hello - I've got an old MXR Phase 90 (mid 70's?) that is apparently suffering some problems in its old age. The signal, with the effect on or off, is almost non existent, and with it engaged i can tell that phasing is happening. I've been fixing up my problem pedals and have had a lot of success, but i would like to be a little more cautious with this one, given its age (I'm a novice at theis stuff.) Any suggestions?
