Will a Digitech Whammy do everything a Boss PS5 does?

I've fancied a Digitech Whammy for ages and I've also look at the Boss Super Shifter PS5. Does the Digitech have all the functions of the Boss?

Not really...the PS5 is a glitchy maniac of a pedal that is capable of pitchshifting, but is really more of a wobbler. The whammy is much more accurate, especially with harmonies. If you are looking for accurate pitchshifting, i DO NOT recommend the PS5.

Also, note that you would have to buy an expression pedal for the PS5 and the knobs are very finicky when dialing in sounds; the whammy is much more flexible from freq to freq.
