Need true bypass mod for mister crybaby?

Hello I have a dunlop mister crybaby super wah pedal that like many sucks my tone when it is in the effects line and off. It is a combination wah/volume pedal with a variable boost. I have seen some bypass mod kits on ebay but was told that they would not work because it is a different circuit than the original crybaby.
If anyone had a mod for it I would greatly appreciate it. I would also like to put a fasel in too.
