  • Sansamp schematic correction plus Q

I was in a hurry while experimenting and stupidly broke off the effect output connection lug from the board (the epoxied portion) on my Sansamp Classic, and when I checked the middle lug of the output pot and the broken nib for continuity and didn't get a beep, I measured the R and found 1k there (which is not in that one schemo by some Japanese dude and Rob S--I have no idea if the schematic was updated in any way since I got it however. Oh, and I'm *assuming* my "Classic" is the same but I suppose it may not be). Scrounged a 1.1k metal film from a bag of Rs, tack soldered to the lug (the nib was too small to solder to easily), then other end to the 2.2uF output cap, and was successful. Seems okay but was wondering if there was any detriment to having the original 1k still there. Would it pick up any noise or does the low value mean it doesn't matter? maybe since it's an output(?)
