hey guys, im new here- lots of great info so far..thanks
Here are my problems.
1. I recently dug out some of my pedals from my closet and upon plugging in, i got nothing..NO sound from the TS-9. I opened it up and look around. The first diode and the dc jack were fried so i figured id replace them. But since i suck at soldering i burnt the board and actually broke off a small piece right near the ground screw. Anyway, i used the dc output jack from my Ibanez Sm-7 and i put in a new n14002 diode. I did some maintenence too- ie resoldered wire joints etc.. I plug the battery in and i get power througout the board, but when i plug my guitar cable into the input, there is no power at all. Almost like the input jack is cutting off all power.
2. After some frustration, i decided to work on the Ibanez SM-7. I transfered back the dc jack, and soldered in a new n14003 dioded and a 100u25v capacitor. I plugged in the battery, checked and got power throughout the board. Then i plug in the guitar cable, and there is no powere. No led no nothing.
Any help would be great...Thanks..
