In an effort to avoid noise generated due to using several pedals sharing few wall warts, and as suggested by EH...I always used the power source that came with the pedal itself. Also, I am conditioning the power to assure a constant flow of power without interference from other exterior sources to all the other pedals.
I guess in my case, and the reason for the HG going back to EH twice...is that there is something wrong.
Now, running my board with all the same other effects (as with the HG), but replaced with the new RV-7...there is no noise from any pedal. IMHO - The RV-7 is a much better pedal, not only for the price.
