Hello, I am new to this forum and do not have much technical vocab in this area, so be patient. Thank you for any help in advance!
My Line 6 DL4 will only turn on if I press the power adapter jack against the unit. When I release the pressure, the unit clicks off.
I opened the unit to have a look at the 'plug'. On the back of the 'plug part' (the black piece that houses the power jack) it seems the metal from the plug doesn't have a good connection to the metal from the circuit board. See attached photo.
My question is, should I solder these two metal pieces together?
