DI Box with 1:1 600ohm:600ohm Transformer

Thanks for read this. I want build DI Box with transformer rating at 1:1 (600ohm:600ohm). This DI Box just stuff for my garage recording. Consider another specs from jensen transformer rate at 12:1(and not cheap), could this 600ohm:600ohm work ?
This 600ohm:600ohm widely avaiable and cheap, thus comonly used by microphone. I guess not only me need this DI stuff. If i can build this, maybe another member could take benefit of it.
Any suggestion are wellcome..
