  • Demeter Tremulator Volume Mod ? (Tremolo Pedal)

I found this cool tremolo at a pawn shop.

Great pedal. I prefer this Trem Pedal to any I've heard.

    It has red knobs....

    It has dpdt switch..

If it's not true bypass, it's sure not tone sucking.

Now for the kicker, The volume boost when the pedals ON is driving me nuts!
There's no internal trim to adjust this, anybody have a mod?

My overdrives sound terrible before this thing as it is. I like my effects to "just all get along."

I know this is an old thread, but figured I'd bump it instead of start a new one. I built a Tremulator clone and it sounds lovely but I'd like to be able to control the volume boost. Any ideas on how to do it? Here is the schematic/layout:

replace R10 with a 10k trimpot, adjust until you reduce the output to the level you want
One end of hte pot goes to the junction of R10 / R11, the wiper connects to teh other end of the pot which connects to the junction of R10 & IC1 pin 6
