  • DOD 265 direct box wiring help

hey guys, i posted this in the music electronics section as well. sorry for the redundancy, just hoping some new eyes might see the post if it's here as well.

the XLR jack on my DOD direct box is no longer wired to the micro tranny inside. the center wire off the tranny (yellow) is still attached to the ground lift switch, which then goes to pin 1 of the XLR. but there are two other wires coming off the tranny (blue and green) that used to attach to pins 2 and 3 of the XLR, but there's no indication of which went where. anyone have any ideas?
this is a passive direct box to convert low Z to high Z.

It shouldn't matter which way round you connect them, all it'll do is reverse the phase of the signal.

Did you trip over the cable and rip the socket out?
"Enzo, I see that you replied parasitic oscillations. Is that a hypothesis? Or is that your amazing metal band I should check out?"
