Hi my OS-2 produce high pitched sound when engaged and i traced the circuit it starts from the very first component in the input.But the effect is ok only with that noise even without input sound as long as the effect is on.If gain is set to 0 the sound is ok.if bypassed sound is ok too.Any help and tips from the masters here?

it is more like the signal is in feedback and like transmitting because before the test probe touch the point which is to be tested i can pick the noise already but in very low volume. -
update of my OS2 problem. When i plug a guitar switched to position 2 and 4 on a 5 way pickup switch(which is out of phase pickup connection) the whistle is gone and operates normally but switched to single coil whistle is present even using humbucker pickup.Only out of phase is ok. Anybody out there knowledgeable with this problem please speak up.Comment
