digitech 2120

could someone please clarify the following. When I turn on the cabinet emulation and I am connected directly to the board I hear no difference in the sound. Is there supposed to be a patch cord from the effects out of the 2120 to the fx in in order for the cab emulation to be heard???

I doubt it. Should work within the unit.

The answer is in there. If that doesn't work, you might try re-initializing the unit to see if that clears up anything.

Bradl thanks for the tip. I am getting ready to dump the presets and will try the reinitialization after I have them saved to my laptop. I have the manual
