  • Boss CE-1 No Chorus

    G'day Guys,

Has anyone had experience with the CE-1 not being able to engage the 'chorus' function? (The Vibrato is working 100%)
I've traced it down (I think) to no signal coming out of IC4 pin 1 and nothing on 7 when in chorus mode. (all measurements seem ok in vibrato)
The ic CA1458G/uPC1458 is nil stock in Australia so I thought id ask around while i was sourcing one from OS.

    thanks as always

    gavin
    Cheers,
    Gavin

You may use almost any relatively modern dual opamp
    for IC4 replacement: 4580, 4560, 4565, 4558, etc.

But I think that potentiometer Chorus Intensity (10KB) is a problem.
