Trying to figure out what would be best to reattach blinding material(fabric) to metal? Got any good ideas for what kind of glue to use...anyone? I got a old PVL Pro Panner project. Thanks for any input.

If you have any speaker reconers in your area maybe you could talk them out of a little adhesive - there are places on most every speaker that need fabric glued to metal.
Other than that I would consider trying Aleene's Tacky Glue, as it's pretty benign and probably not too hard to remove if it doesn't work out. Or for something more permanent maybe some automotive weatherstrip cement. Or for something damn permanent and almost too quick JB-Weld's "JB-KWIK".
You could also try asking the guys at Morley if you want to stay true to the original:
