Wah pedal not working.

I've got a wah pedal that when engaged the wah effect does come on but its like its stuck in toe-up position. This is the Slash Crybaby and the boost effect works fine on it and the blue light comes on when the wah is enagaged but moving the pedal has no effect on the sound. I'm not an expert on wahs but im thinking either the POT or the Fasel thingy but im not real sure what that does anyways. Any ideas for testing?

Make sure the linear gear is turning the round gear on the pot. The screw on the tension thing can get loose and cause the gears to separate. That's the simple thing.

A multimeter on the pot lugs will tell you if your are getting resistance through the sweep or not.
