  • Simple Parametric

Can anyone tell me if this circuit will work as a stand alone between my guitar and amp. I need a very simple Parametric and found this. Thanks Dave.

That will probably cut your volume quite a bit because it will load down the voltage swing from your guitar. What it probably could do with is a buffering stage in front of it (like a CF stage) to provide it with a good current supply

"Simple parametric" to what end? Just for delivering up something a little different, for zeroing in on pesky wolftones or feedback, or for something else?

Thanks Tubeswell, yes I thought about that and I have a 10db preamp to boost the signal back up, as long as it is a worth while project I shall combine the two.
        Cheers Dave.

I Play steel guitar and my amp doesn't give me enough "FAT" so I thought being able to shift the mid frequencies I may be able to get the tone I want. Dave.
