Alesis AL3201 SCR FX Module mix potentiometer

Hi guys, just received Alesis AL3201 SCR FX Module from www.pcm63.com Very good effects and convenient to use rotary effect
switch. But this module is intended for building into DIY boxes and therefore is not equipped by MIX potentiometer... I think about connecting a MIX potentiometer as on the picture below. Do you think it will work?

Interesting module and VERY reasonably priced. I tried building a unit using the circuit and layout described here: FEMTOVERB /Wavefrontsemi/ PCB layout

There may be some commonalities between the board you bought, and the circuit described in the forum thread, that will help you figure out what to do to provide a mix function.
