EHX Memory Toy Burnt Resistor.

Hi,I need help and initial info about burnt resistor in a EHX memory toy.the resistor is R80.I have email EHX Oct27 and no reply till today.I haven't ask for the schematic yet.just thought i go with my eyes and hunch first.

any help would be appreciated.thanks.

Propable,R80 is 1k (1001)
