Pod XT live edit software

Hi Guys
I have a pod xt live pluged via usb into my laptop to access gearbox edit software. It works great except it takes over my audio out. I have the headphone jack going to a marshall 2x12 amp. Works fine. But when I plug usb from pod into laptop, now all audio goes thru the pod and into my fender half stack that I use for the pod.
Need help!

Normally, when you plug in a USB audio device, the OS will switch the system audio output over to it. Windows and Mac OS both do this.

You should be able to go into your OS's audio control panel and change it back, but the setting won't be remembered, it will pop back again next time you unplug and replug the device.

The audio control panel is different between XP, Win7 and Mac OS, and I don't know which you're running, so I won't give detailed instructions.
