  • modifying blackstar ht pedals for bass guitar

I own three different blackstar ht pedals (dist, distx and dual) and they all loose bass under ca 65hz with a steep slope. This i have meassured. More gain flattens the response which suggests that the highpass filtering takes place before the dist in the signal chain. Not very ideal for bass guitar. I checked the schematic for the ht dual but i cannot figure out where this filtering takes place. What i would like is for some kind soul to suggest a mod that would flatten bass response for preferably the ht dist since i use the two other ones for guitar duty.

For some reason I can't load those schematics. Can you retry the upload? While you're at it, would you happen to have the schematic for the Blackstar HT-Boost?

        Thanks!!

This scematic seems to be valid for the HT Dual. The meassured highpass slope is ca 24db/octave with -6dB at 65Hz. Hmm.. maybe it happens around the IC 3a/3b? The slope is allready there when signal enters the filter section-meassured. What software do you guys use to simulate circuits like theese?
