Does anyone know where I can find the main drive belt for a Fender Echo Chamber? The unit I have is missing the belt. I do not know the length of the belt or its width. Maybe someone can direct me to a place where i can try a few sizes?

If you call them, they will give you the part number for the belt, which you can order from a dealer.
These are pretty rare, but probably still supported. One of the rarest Fender parts, I have only worked on 2 in 38 years.
I you really wanna know, frequently, rubber O rings are used as drive belts. If you size it right, not too tight, a lot of times it will work for years.

I called Fender and they were very receptive to my question. However, they did NOT have any information on the belt. They did provide me the name of a belt source PRB Belts. The link is helpful and I could have gotten the belt I needed from them but I did not. I found a local electronic surplus shop that had a large assortment of VCR belts.
I bought a few belts to try and found one that worked well. I used a belt that has an inside circumference (IC) of 14" and a width of 1/16". Other sizes will work as well but I would not go smaller than 12". 12" stretches the belt too much (that's what she said).
The drive mechanism works well now and I just wound a new tape, what a pain in the butt that was. I had to build a fixture to wind the tape around spool. I haven't tested it yet but will soon.

I think that the same basic cartridge was also used on the Eccophonic echo units. Have you tried searching for one of those?
I rebuilt one a while ago, I can try and contact the owner and see if he has one for sale or if he know where one might be found. Let me see if I can find his contact information.
