Morley volume pedal

I have a Morley pro series volume plus. I works OK except that it seems to come on all at once.... like the first 20% of movement gives you 50% of the total volume. how can I de-sensitize it some?

This is one of those models that uses a shutter, right? Sometimes the shutter position or LDR can be tinkered with and repositioned to get a smoother sweep.

Or the shutter hangs up. Make sure it has the correct lamp. If it was replaced with a brighter bulb it can cause problems.
