MXR classic overdrive problem

MXR classic overdrive when you stomp on pedal volume goes to less than half. Already tested footswitch and output jack, and 3 electrolytics.

TP2 3.96 3.92
TP3 3.95 3.91
TP4 3.42 3.38
TP5 3.99 3.96

Battery measures 8.85 All votages are Vdc.

Any one have any ideas?

Put it back in shell and all works now. Go figure

I have to laugh because the common phenomenon on the DIY stompbox site is "I don't understand. I worked okay before I installed it in a box."
