    Hello,
    I am trying repair of the echoplex EP3.
    As shown in attached photos, the wiring of the record/erase head is unsoldered on PCB.
    I don't know where I should wire

    Will you show the photos of the PCB which a record/erase head was wired ?

    I don't have the detailed photos that you requested but I can offer the attached EP-3 schematic which should allow you to trace the circuit and determine the attachment points for the head wires. The schematic does list wire colors that match those of the cables you posted.

      Tom Phillips, Thank you for schematic. I understood which color of wire are for ground.
      However I can not still understand other wiring….

        The only Echoplex I have access to is a different model (Tube type) so maybe you can find a friend who can compare the schematic to the actual unit you have and determine where to connect the wires.
        There is a web site called Regis's Echoplex Page at Regis's Echoplex Page You will find a section with photos of a 1974 EP-3 that he restored at Regis's EP-3 Echoplex Page. There are some gut shot photos there that may help you.
