I have an early Keeley compressor and it doesn't have an attack control or his new 'input sensitivity' control. I'm having the common problem of having a couple guitars that are just a tad too hot for the compressor...certain humbuckers (basically overwound PAFs with A5 magnets) have too much of that plucky/plasticy attack...even with the Sustain control full CCW.
In my limited use of Ross-clones with an attack control (the Analogman BiComp is the only one I've owned that had an Attack control)...the attack control doesn't really address this problem (or at least...not enough).
But this 'input sensitivity' control sounds like it might work for me. Anybody know what it is? TIA.
