Fuzzface switch issue

Hi, I have built a Fuzzface based loosely on the Fulltone 69 pedal, with some variations. It works quite well, I like it, except that when I switch from bypass to Fuzz there is a momentary silence ...1/2 sec. ..... then it kicks in. Going back to clean or bypass to the amp its fime , no glitch. I am including the schematic in the hope I can get a resolution through the forum.

That 1/2 second delay sounds suspiciously like a capacitor charging up.

Maybe switching the power to the circuit off when in bypass mode?

The first thing that I would try is to clean the switch.

There are bits of grease inside the switch that may be slowing down the movement of the internal mechanism.

For the switch wiring, (A) and (B) need swapping and the LED needs flipping.
