Footswitch for Marshall Shredmaster

What a hack job in this pedal. The switch was already replaced once, and the previous "tech" burnedd off all six pads, and has wires jumpered all over. The DPDT switch itself is pcb mounted and has a rather long threaded neck, but it might not be the exact replacement. The switch is broken in that it does not click, it looks to be stuck in the down position.

Small Bear is down for orders at the moment. Anyone know how to score a DPDT switch that will work?

No, doesn't look it comes apart or more importantly, goes back together easily. I saw that thread, no useful information there.

Chemtooler, I have ordered from amp repair parts lots of times. I'm just not sure which switch is the right one, I wish they published more specs.

What all is printed on your switch one of the links says theirs has a L stamped to denote latching.

I don't know how you gleaned that link, but it looks like it might work. What is stamped on the one I have is probablly inconsequential since I don't think it is original, but it reads;

I have ordered this one in the meantime, from chemtooler's suggestion. If it doesn't fit I may try the above link.

Well, I can confirm that switch doesn't work, it's way too big. But I did order this one from Mouser, it looks promising.

Kind of the same happened to me. I thought that it was just broken finally made it work by deep cleaning...
I was looking for a good replacement too but impossible for me (at least in Europe).
I found an old "fix" scratching the pcb to change the input for a guitar TRS! So, it always can be worst! lol
